However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may require cancellations. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which cancellations, refunds, and deductions will be processed.
1. General Policy
- This policy applies to all customers who book travel packages, tours, or services directly through RAAHI Pvt. Ltd.
- Refunds will always be processed to the original mode of payment (bank transfer, credit/debit card, UPI, etc.).
- All refunds will be subject to applicable GST (Goods & Services Tax) deductions and other non-refundable charges as per vendor policies.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
If you need to cancel your booking, the following refund rules will apply (after deducting GST, processing fees, and any non-refundable vendor charges such as airline, rail, or hotel bookings):
- 30 days or more before departure: 90% refund of the total package price (10% processing fee + GST will be deducted).
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% refund (balance forfeited).
- 7–14 days before departure: 25% refund only.
- Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
3. Cancellation by the Company
In rare circumstances where RAAHI Pvt. Ltd. has to cancel a trip due to reasons such as natural disasters, government restrictions, operational issues, or safety concerns:
- Customers will be eligible for a 100% refund (excluding GST and non-refundable vendor charges).
- Alternatively, customers may choose to reschedule or transfer the booking amount to a future trip of equal value.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are strictly non-refundable:
- Airline tickets, train tickets, and visas (subject to respective provider’s cancellation policy).
- Travel insurance premiums.
- Special discounted or “Last Minute Deals” packages.
- Any services where the supplier’s terms specify non-refundable status.
5. Refund Timeline
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days after cancellation is approved.
- In case of third-party bookings (flights, hotels, visas), refunds may take 15–21 working days depending on the vendor.
- GST charged on invoices is non-refundable as per Government of India tax laws.
6. Partial Refunds / Mid-Trip Cancellations
- Once a trip has commenced, no partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of the package.
- Exceptions may be considered only in extreme medical emergencies, subject to management approval.
7. Returns
Since RAAHI Pvt. Ltd. provides services and not physical goods, the concept of “returns” does not apply. Only cancellations and refunds are applicable as per this policy.
8. Force Majeure Events
No refunds will be applicable if the trip is disrupted due to circumstances beyond our control, such as:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, landslides).
- Government restrictions, strikes, or political unrest.
- Epidemics, pandemics, or health emergencies.
